Interesting Idea afoot - outdoor stories!

CALL TO WRITERS & STORYTELLERS

Canadian storytellers, writers / authors and copyright owners (of applicablewritten work) are invited to submit proposals for traditional stories and/orwritten works that will be integrated into six locations at Marina Parkat Prince Arthur’s Landing. It is expected that the submissions will reflectthe experiences of those who have lived or spent time in Thunder Bay.
Writers and storytellers are encouraged to consider a multitude of themes,viewpoints and stories that relate to the City. The selected works will create opportunities for moments of reflection along the shores of LakeSuperior.

Site Visit: Thursday, July 7, 2011 @ 10:00 a.m. Meet at the construction fence beside the Skate Park / BMX Plaza.Directions: Takethe Marina Park overpass, via the intersection of Cumberlandand Water Streets. Turn left onto Marina Park Drive. Park near the SkatePark/BMX Plaza.
You will be required to wear CSA Class 1 Safety Footwearwith sole protection. Hardhats and safety vests will be available on-sitein limited quantities. Please make all attempts to bring personal safetyequipment.
