SNOWWOMAN
By Erin Pamela Stewart
This winter I wanted to build one with
wings
We'd teach her to fly
not caring, come March or April
a rain of our snowwoman would fall
from the sky.
Instead
winter came
and just before the snow fell
and you told me, voice as cold as the
weather
I do not love you.
Now
anything I build
well be frozen on the ground.
This winter I wanted to build one with
wings
We'd teach her to fly
not caring, come March or April
a rain of our snowwoman would fall
from the sky.
Instead
winter came
and just before the snow fell
and you told me, voice as cold as the
weather
I do not love you.
Now
anything I build
well be frozen on the ground.
