Holly Haggarty, author of Dream Dad and Summer Dragons, two novels for the middle-grade reader, will lead a presentation/workshop on what it takes to write successfully for this age group.
10:00 am to 3:00 pm (with a half-hour break for lunch - so please bring your lunch with you)


$10 for NOWW members, $40 for non-members (includes 2019 NOWW membership)

What appeals to this reader?
What is marketed for the middle-grade reader?
What  resources are available for writing for this age group?
What tips I would recommend, as an author of two books and some anthologized works for this age group.
What exercises are helpful in developing writing techniques for writing for the middle-grade reader?
