Beauty by Margaret Rose Cunningham
I wish I had a
Word or Two
To sum it up
For you.
Blue skies
Blue lakes
Poppies and magnolias in the spring
Tulips parading through the yard.
And in the fall,
The maples kaleidiscoping
Near the wall
A paint pot dumped upon the earth
And between the leaves
A laughing child.
Word or Two
To sum it up
For you.
Blue skies
Blue lakes
Poppies and magnolias in the spring
Tulips parading through the yard.
And in the fall,
The maples kaleidiscoping
Near the wall
A paint pot dumped upon the earth
And between the leaves
A laughing child.

A Christmas Poem by Margaret Rose Cunningham
ONE DULL DAY
One red rose
Frozen in the garden
One red leaf
Shivering on a branch
One red bird
Carolling on high.
Enough to cheer.
Enough to brighten.
Enough to signal hope.
