Jean Morrison Receives the J.J.Talman Award
Big congrats to Thunder Bay's Jean Morrison who has been chosen for the prestigious J.J. Talman Award by the Ontario Historical Society.
The award recognizes her work Labour Pains: Thunder Bay's Working Class in Canada's Wheat Boom Era. The book was published by the Thunder Bay Historical Museum.
The award is given for the best book in Ontario's social, economic, political or cultural history published in the last thee years. It was presented June 12.
