Be part of the integrated art project Liar Liar
Liar, Liar features artists from 3 different disciplines - visual art, writing & music.
NOWW members may submit fiction or non-fiction based upon the theme of lies.
You might refer to a public scandal, write an essay on the evils of deceit, pen a personal recollection, or spin a devious yarn.
Deadline for submissions is October 15, 2011
A short list of 8 entries will be juried by 2 judges
4 entries will be chosen for inclusion in the integrated project.
Selected authors will receive an honorarium of $100 each.
Rules:
-open to members of NOWW in good standing
-submit one entry
-word limit of 1500 to 2500 words (accurate counts)
-submissions must be typed, double spaced in an easily read font
-authors retain copyright
-entries will not be returned
-entries must include title, word count, author's name and contact info on a separate page
- authors name must not appear on the entry (judging will be blind)
-electronic submissions are not eligible
