A reminder that the deadline is fast approaching for the Northwestern Ontario Writers Workshop 15thAnnual Writing Contest! Entries must be postmarked by March 15, 2013.

This year’s contest features four categories:
· Poetry – Judged by Susan Glickman
· Fiction – Judged by Angie Abdou
· Personal Essay – Judged by Jake MacDonald
· Mystery – Judged by Louise Penny
Entry is free for NOWW members; for non-members the entry fee is $10 per entry with a maximum of two entries per category. Cash prizes are awarded in each category—$125 for first place, $75 for second place, $50 for third place. First place winners are published in NOWW Magazine. The winners will be announced at NOWW’s annual Literary Awards Party on May 11, 2013. For complete contest rules or to download an entry form, please visit the NOWW website at nowwwriters.org.
Northwestern Ontario Writers Workshop (NOWW) is a group of writers—both seasoned and new—who provide inspiration and support through readings, workshops, and their thrice-yearly publication, NOWW Magazine.
