Great opportunity to learn about Northern Grants

Are you an artist interested in applying to Northern Arts?
Would you like to learn more about what makes a strong grant application, and how decisions are made at the Ontario Arts Council?

Northern Arts is a grant that supports artists, collectives, and organizations to create new work, take or deliver skills and career development, present exhibitions, festivals, concerts, theatre, publications, work with communities, and much, much more. The next deadlines to apply are November 17, 2015, and May 17, 2016.
This is an opportunity to:
  • Find out about the types of projects supported through Northern Arts
  • Learn what makes a strong application
  • Learn what actually happens to your application when you apply to the OAC
  • Discuss the types of questions a jury considers when assessing an application
