Playwrights Revision Workshop

Join us on Monday, January 11th, for a Play Revision Workshop facilitated by Eleanor Albanese. Bring your ten-minute play script!

This revision workshop will give you a unique opportunity to hear your words read aloud in small break-out groups. This is a first step in any revision process. Do the words communicate what you had intended? Where does the script come alive for you? The discussion that follows will be brief and curated by a director and/or dramaturge. In other words, the discussion will be tightly focused with the intent of supporting you towards a more polished draft. As part of the workshop, we will also touch on subtext, character voice and plot. All playwrights are welcome!

Following the workshop, you will still have two weeks to polish your script before the submission deadline. *IMPORTANT! Please bring copies of your play: one for each character (maximum four characters), plus one for yourself.
