More Book Club Titles.

I am a Truck by Michelle Winter

An intriguing list indeed. Some good suggestions her for book clubs but also for individuals to add to their reading lists

Hello Joan,
Here are a few more new titles that have been added to the Book Club Collection. You can reserve these by clicking on Kitkeeper . Watch for more new titles coming soon.

The Lightkeeper's Daughters by Jean Pendziwol, generously donated by the Bound by Books Book Club. We now have 2 sets of this title which is wonderful as it is one of our most requested titles.

I am a Truck by Michelle Winter, generously donated by the Novel Approach Book Club
Agathe and Rejean Lapointe are about to celebrate their twentieth wedding anniversary when Rejean's beloved Chevy Silverado is found abandoned at the side of the road - with no trace of Rejean. Agathe handles her grief by fondling the shirts in the Big and Tall department at Henderman's Family Apparel and carrying on a relationship with a cigarette survey. As her hope dwindles, Agathe falls in with her spirited coworker Debbie, who teaches Agathe about rock and roll, and with Martin Bureau, the one man who might just know the truth about Rejean's fate.

The Dead of Winter: a True Story by Judy Sencza, generously donated by the Nipigon Public Library
A true story of a double murder. During the winter of 1946, two unsuspecting innocent men lost their lives in the snowy back wood of Schreiber, Ontario.

Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult
Ruth Jefferson is a labor and delivery nurse at a Connecticut hospital with more than twenty years' experience. During her shift, Ruth begins a routine checkup on a newborn, only to be told a few minutes later that she's been reassigned to another patient. The parents are white supremacists and don't want Ruth, who is African American, to touch their child. The hospital complies with their request, but the next day, the baby goes into cardiac distress while Ruth is alone in the nursery. Does she obey orders or does she intervene?
