About Lila...
Lila's contributions in theatre, community arts, arts education, writing and music are big in a very small way.
Lila continues to direct, teach and guide children and adults through countless programs, residencies, workshops and artistic projects with various arts organizations, community groups, and educational institutions.
For the past 37 years, Lila has been a dedicated inspiring contributor to the arts in her own community. She writes short stories and has co-written a children's play The Tree Spirit of Silver Islet that has had two professional tours, locally and in the region.
She is currently working on her first full length adult play Beyond . Lila looks forward to sharing what she has learned through Tarragon Theatre's Play Writing course this past fall. In whatever she undertakes, she inspires those around her to keep searching until they find the creative place within themselves. And her work is absolutely connected to the strongest place of all - a place called home.
